Man Remanded In Prison For S3x With OWN Daughter

An Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrate Court Todays ordered a fifty five-12 months-antique man, Adeyanju Basiri, to be remanded in prison custody for allegedly napping with his seven-12 months old daughter.


The police prosecutor, Monica Ikebulo, told the court that the accused dedicated the offence on 9-11 at Irona Street, Ado-Ekiti.

She said the accused and one herbalist now at big had been arrested for attempting to use the woman for cash rituals. She stated that the accused claimed he had slept together with his daughter, name withheld, 9 times.

The prosecutor said the accused instructed the police he usually used a white handkerchief given to him by using the herbalist to smooth his daughter’s private part after having intercourse with her.


She said the offence contravened Section 31(2) of the Child’s Right Law.

Ms. Ikebulo informed the court that she had duplicated and despatched the case report to the Department of Public Prosecution for felony recommendation.

The plea of the accused become not taken as his counsel, Simeon Ojo, searched for adjournment date pending the issuance of the legal recommendation.

The presiding Magistrate, Dolapo Akosile, ordered that the accused be remanded within the prison custody till the final results of the criminal advice from the DPP and adjourned the case until October12 for similarly listening to.
